The Northeastern Utilities Credit And Collection Group was established in the 1970's
to aid and assist utilities in improving efficiencies in collections and customer service. Over the years the group has grown
and developed, meeting the challenges of deregulation. Although many of the utility names have changed, the group still remains
committed to sharing ideas and concepts.
Credit and collection managers
meet in the host utility’s city to discuss new technologies and techniques that the various managers use in their collection
efforts. The managers share their experiences that have proven most effective
for them.
The efforts of the group contribute
to methods that increase efficiency in dealing with the service and satisfaction of customers. In
today’s changing collection climate, with so many competing sources for the customer’s dollar, the information
imparted is invaluable.
